Some Frequently Asked Questions

A: Certainly: you can participate in our Introductory

but you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Q: I've got a child under 14 - can he/she participate?
A: No, our insurance only covers us for riders aged 14 and over.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: We run two different sessions: the Introductory
Quad Biking is £49.50 per person and the h
Exclusive Quad Bike Safari is £99.00.
Q: How long does it last?
A: The sessions last for approximately 2 hours.

A: Not at all. All our sessions start with a briefing by an experienced
instructor, followed by some practice circuits where you will be shown
how to handle the bikes.
Q: Do I need to do the introduction to quad biking before I can do
the half day quad safari?
A: No, this is not a requirement. You will receive a briefing and take
part in practice circuits (as above) - and if you have any concerns on
the day you just need to mention then to your instructor.
Q: Do I need a driving licence?
A: No - our sessions are run on private land so this is not necessary.
Q: What if I have a medical condition?
A: If you suffer from a medical condition such as epilepsy, back pain
or injury or are pregnant, or if you are taking prescription drugs with
side effects that may impair your reactions, you must notify us. If any

A: We have sites in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, within easy reach of the
M25, and Walton-on-Trent, South Derbyshire, not far from Birmingham.
Q: When do you run the quad biking sessions?
A: We run our quad biking sessions at weekends all year long.
Q: What do I wear?
A: We advise bringing layers of clothing, so that if it gets warm you
can take layers off. You will need to keep your arms and legs covered,
so a long-sleeved t-shirt and combats or similar are ideal. You must wear
stout footwear - no sandals or flipflops! We do provide waterproofs, but
you are more than welcome to bring your own along if you prefer.
Q: What about helmets, etc?
A: We provide helmets and gloves, which must be worn whenever you are
on the quad bike. Again, if you have your own helmet/gloves then please
do bring them along if you prefer.
Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?
A: No, but please see above.
Q: What happens if the weather is poor?
A: We still run the session - in fact, we haven't had to cancel a session
yet! However, if you are unsure, please call us.
Q: Can I bring my own quad bike?
A: No, for insurance purposes all of our sessions are instructor led and
we only allow the use of our own quad bikes.
Q: What bikes do you use?
A: The quad bikes we use are predominantly Honda 250ES or Honda Sportrax
90s. 250ES are utility machines with five forward gears operated by electric
thumb shift. The Sportrax 90 is smaller and sports tuned.
Q: Can I book a private quad biking session just for me and my friends?
A: We can certainly accommodate private bookings - either on a day
when we are already running safaris for the public, or on an alternative

977 or email us for more details.
